ALIANZA members learned the basics of organizing a marketing plan from Nannette Rodríguez, President and Executive Creative Director for VIVAMEDIA – Des Moines' only multilingual advertising agency. The presentation included a case study on how marketing execution can provide a succesful return on investment.

ALIANZA and the Neighborhood Development Corporation present: LatinEXPO
ALIANZA members and other community businesses showcased their products and services at this first-ever Latin business and resource trade fair. The event attracted a large crowd and the attention of the local press by hosting the function at the site of the Latino Corridor, the downtown area soon to be transformed to become a vibrant Latino-owned business district.

ALIANZA members had the opportunity to network and enjoy dinner at El Dorado Mexican Restaurant at 4345 Merle Hay Road. El Dorado is a member of ALIANZA and will be adding a special dish to their menu as ALIANZA's namesake.
